Winter Driving
Being able to drive on a slippery road has a meaning in its own. Experience the tire behavior and cope with tire grip which has already exceeded its limits.
We do not just stop at driving on icy and snowy roads. We provide fun driving programs by creating environments to make the car behave in a specific manner.
In 1992, we started “Lake Megami Winter Driving Lessons” for the purpose of instructing the locals of Tateshina, Nagano, how to drive with snow tires. Also, at the koutsu kagaku sougou kenkyujo’s cold district test center in Shibetsu, Hokkaido, we cooperate to provide events such as test drives and driving lessons. Furthermore, we are working towards future driving possibilities, such as an ice circuit in the artic circle or a snow course in the southern hemisphere.
